Switchboard Designer

Tell us what you need to control and we'll lay out the eDIDIO controllers, UBi bus supplies and power supplies to run it — with an indicative parts list you can send to us to confirm.

What are you controlling?

Enter your totals — we'll auto-lay-out a switchboard you can then fine-tune line by line.

Indicative parts list

Indicative only — we'll confirm the final specification and quote.
Addressing: fitting = 1 DALI address, 0–10V = 2, LIDA D = 4; sensors use their own DALI addressing (≤10/line, not counted in the 63). Draws @ 24VDC: eDIDIO 100, UBi 250, LIDA D 50, 0–10V 100, DMX Splitter 100 mA. PSU shared per board up to HDR60 (2.0 A usable @ 80% target), then split per controller.

Tell us about your LED

We'll size the SLAMMO drivers, the power supply and the cable — then the DMX channels and controller to run it.

channels per zone
from the strip datasheet
must match the strip (V5: 7–48V, V6: ≤24V)
one run of strip
each = one driver
driver → strip, for Vdrop
V6 is IP20 (DIN)

Driver & power design

indicative — adjust and it recalculates
V6 is IP20 (DIN)

Basis: I = W/V; %Vdrop = 2·I·L·R/V (3% target; smallest passing cable auto-selected). PSU usable = 80% of rating; ≤6 SLAMMOs per PSU; one PSU per group; >32 SLAMMOs/DMX line needs a splitter. Inductive max length L = K/I (K from SLAMMO V5 measured edge time; V6 assumed similar — to confirm). SLAMMO V5 = 4ch (7–48V); V6 = 6ch DIN (7–24V). 48V load limits conservatively set to the 24V figure — to confirm.
